Last night was my first night at a Belfast Open Coffee club meeting, a very interesting meet-up with some (more than expected) like-minded souls.
Good fun and, as always with those who are fired with enthusiasm for their work, some exciting projects under discussion. One such project is The Big Word Project
I chatted briefly to Lee from the project last night and so I thought I would throw my tuppence-worth in ($4 actually, luckily I have a short nickname) and buy my name:

Great to see you there Davy. Hopefully we can sustain and grow the group! Informal. Few rules. Maximum networking. Good coffee. Really easy, but amazing how few of these networking things actually do that! Darryl
If it grows any more we’ll ned to hire a hall, good fun though. Hugely distracted by the amount of funky Apple kit being disported, esp. iPhones. I thought all these web dudes would be shunning the Kool-Aid in favour of drastically hacked Viao laptops.
Looking forward to the next one already.
