I smiled about your Helvetica article as I guess being in the technology sector I found it aways grated on my nerves! I liked the cleaner lines of ariel. When I was reading up on fonts when starting my company back in 2000 I got a bit excited about Verdana and that's what I've used ever since on e-mails etc. or wherever I've a choice.

But you are right - Helvetica has it's uses and fans. Happy Birthday indeed!
